“The release of our Redemption Wheated Bourbon represents the first in a series of limited production expressions that we will bring to market over the next few years,” said Tom Steffanci, President of Deustch Family Wine & Spirits, in a prepared statement. “The wheat and corn in the Wheated Bourbon combine to create a complex, unique and delicious whiskey.”
This whiskey, aged four years in new oak barrels, is bottled at 96 proof and will price around $46. Official tasting notes you’ll find for it below. It joins in the Redemption line up Redemption Rye, Redemption Bourbon, Redemption High Rye Bourbon and some Limited Edition Aged Barrel Proof selections.

Silky and harmonious on the palate, this whiskey is delicate yet robust and intense. Flavors of roasted coffee bean, smoked meats and hazelnut marry harmoniously with spicy notes of cardamom and black pepper and a fresh hint of mint. Complex aroma notes of candied ginger, sage, lavender, fresh pear, vanilla, and cedar come together with nuances of bay leaf and burnt toffee. A deep topaz and amber color, with hues of orange and lime.
